Things have been very busy of late. I’m sure it has been like this for a lot of you at this time of the year. So much has happened this year for me personally and at the salons!
Carlingford salon recently celebrated its first anniversary. Rebecca and the team there have done a great job. The salon continues to grow from strength to strength and Rebecca, like me, is looking forward to a bigger and better 2016.
Parramatta has had a massive 12 months with stage one of the renovations complete. The renovations have taken a little longer than expected, however we should complete the second and final stage by February. I’m sure those of you who have seen the work done so far, would agree the salon is looking amazing. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful clients for their patience during the renovations. We tried to do it without any interruptions to trading with minimal inconvenience to our clients.
Hair by Phd was chosen by American Express to be one of 40 small businesses’ in Australia to be featured in their Shop Small campaign. We where given a 2 page spread in the SMH Good Weekend, profiling our business. We also are featured in a video on the Shop Small website. I was very honoured to have Hair by Phd regarded so highly by American Express and I am a real advocate of their Shop Small Program. During 2015 all our team members trained with some of Australia’s top hair stylists. It has been wonderful to see how our team has developed as stylists so they can continue to bring you the best customer experience every time you have your hair done at Hair By Phd. In 2016 we will ramp up the training even more and expose our team to more of Australia’s best, to continue to bring you only the best in hair and a memorable experience with every visit.
As Christmas draws near I start to think a little about my now big family. Recently Briony my wife gave birth boy number 4. Xavier (Pictured) was born weighing in at 4.26kgs (9.6lbs). He was a surprise blessing and I’m sure he and his big brothers are going to have an awesome Christmas. Like I said it has been a very busy time.
This will be my last post for this year and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful clients for helping make Hair by Phd the salon it is and I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and may 2016 bring you all good health, good hair and much happiness.
