Rita-Ora-2

On Sunday night I was celebrating my wife Briony’s birthday with all her family. My sister in-law Jane turned around to me and said how awesome her hair felt after having that new treatment in her hair last week. Jane had come in to have her highlights done the week before and I spoke to her about the Olaplex treatment. She likes to wear her hair quite light and can suffer from a little dryness and breakage.

We applied the treatment to her hair before and after the colour service and the condition of her hair was amazing. In her words she said “I have washed my hair three times since coming in and my hair still feels like I have just left the salon” This was music to my ears. When you get this sort of feedback it makes you feel like you are doing the right thing by your clients. Olaplex is an amazing product; one I think is going to change the hair industry for the better. If you didn’t read my post on Olaplex last week check it out here.

While doing some research I came across Harper’s Bazaar Best Celebrity Hair Changes of 2015. There are some interesting looks here. Blondes, pastels and fringes play a big part in a lot of the looks, which is great coming into Spring/Summer.

There are a couple of great cheeky short haircuts, Rita Oras funky blonde short cut and Tyra Banks edgy short haircut are worth a mention.

Katie Holmes and Nicole Kidman look fresh with their long bobs. This length is much more flattering than very straight long hair which really drags their faces and does nothing for their look at all.

Jessica Hart and Behati Prinsloo give their look a dramatic change just by adding a fringe. They both look amazing.

My make over pick is Julia Roberts. Her change of colour and her hair styled away from her face takes years off her. I must admit I have a soft spot for her; I’ve been a fan for many years.
