Last week Louise, Samantha, Sarah and Lemai from our Parramatta salon were asked to style the hair for all the WAGS from the A-League for the FFA awards night. The girls did an amazing job on all the hair, as you will see in the images posted below. It got us talking about how much the red carpet hairdo’s and celebrities do have an effect on fashion.
I think it is every girl’s dream to want to be a Hollywood superstar and do the walk on the Red Carpet. It really explains how much influence celebrities have on fashion. All the top designers want the profile of celebrities to help display their fashion as do all the top hairstylists. This then filters down to the general public. And it’s the public that pays the money, all the celebrities get their clothes and hair done for free for the exposure.
Below are some of my favourite looks from the Oscar’s, Logies and our team. Bridal hair is strongly influenced by a lot of these styles as well, so expect to see some of them appearing at the next wedding you attend!
Oscar’s 2017
It was great to see some variety with the styles this year. Hale Berry’s hair was awesome. Not many people can pull this look off but she looks amazing. Nicole and Emma Stone look very classy. These styles could easily be used for bridal hair. Scarlett Johansson just looks hot!
Hailee Steinfeld, Jessica Biel, and Karlie Kloss all deserve a mention. The styles are elegant and very classy. Any of these styles would work beautifully in a bridal party.
Logies 2017
A very uninspiring hair event this one! A lot very casual looks and not much in the way of elegance.
Danni Minogue always one of my favourites look stunning as usual, with a special mention going to Delta. Sylvia while it looks great, I don’t think it’s a look for an elegant event.
The girl that stole the show I think is Jessica Marais. Very simple but elegant. This is my pick of the event.
