Who had the best hair at the 84th Annual Academy Awards?

After all the BS that has been going on in the last week in Canberra it was very refreshing to focus on something more exciting today. The red carpet event at the Oscars did not disappoint, with all the Hollywood stars out to impress. Here’s my take on the outfits and the hairdo’s. I’ll be rating the hairdo’s out of 10.

Angelina Jolie arrived with her man Brad Pitt wearing a black number by Atelier Versace. Simple, but a very elegant number. The red lips were striking, her hair disappointing. Like many Hollywood girls at the event they went for the boring option when it comes to the hair. Very uninspiring! Down with loose curls. 3/10

Cameron Diaz was very sexy in her Gucci dress. The hair was cool but not for a function of this nature. Would have liked to see something more elegant to match the beautiful dress. 5/10

Rooney Mara wore Givenchy and she wore it well. Her hair was stunning with her fringe being the focal point. It really bought out her facial features and would definitely make you look twice. 7/10

Jennifer Lopez dressed by Zuhair Murad. I’m still picking up my jaw off the ground. This is one very attractive lady and her hair although simple looked beautiful. Need I say more about this stunning lady? 7/10

Michelle Williams was all class in her Louis Vuitton dress. Red gowns were very big this year, and being my favourite colour I was happy to see lots of it. Michelle’s hair was a short pixie style that really was a standout. As a fan of short hair on ladies this was one of my picks of the night. 8/10

Another lady in red Emma Stone wore a dress by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture (that was a mouth full). This was seriously impressive. The dress was a big risk but it paid off big time. The hair simple but elegant really matched her outfit. One of the real glamour’s of the evening. 9/10

The last but the by no means  least. Penelope Cruz was the events total package. The dress by Georgio Amani just oozed class and was by far the pick of the event. The hair oozed even more class, complimenting the gown to a tee. Head to toe this look speaks for it self. Wow! 10/10
